Regulations for OSFAF 2009

The Academic Cinema Club presents the 22-st International Film Festival - OSFAF, which will take place in Skopje, Macedonia, on October 23-24, 2009.
Every foreign and Macedonian film author can participate on the festival.
Every author can send unlimited number of films(entries).
On OSFAF 2009 the following film authors can participate:
- Amateur film-makers
- Film students
- Any author of non-professional (alternative) film
The film has to be made and assigned for non-commercial purposes.
Films produced by a professional movie or TV production will not be evaluated by the festival jury.
The film has to be made in 2007, 2008 or 2009.
All film categories and genres are allowed. The length of the film can’t be longer than 30 minutes. Each film must have main and end titles.
If the film has dialogue, it must have subtitles in one of the following languages: Macedonian or English.
The films can be send in PAL system on:
VHS, S-VHS, mini DV, CD-ROM (AVI Microsoft DV compression)
and DVD format.
If you participate with more than one film, you can put all of your films on one tape or CD/DVD, with 15 sec. blank between each film.
The deadline for sending films is:
21-st September 2009 (stamp date).
Every author must send the entry form along with the film.
The entry form must be fully completed and packed together with
the film.
Every film(entry) must have separate entry form.
Films sent without an entry form will not be evaluated by the jury.
Selection of films for the official competition will be made by an international jury, composed by distinguished foreign and domestic film workers.
The jury will also decide for the festival awards.
The entered films will be kept and projected in best technical conditions.
Films sent on DVD will not be returned.
For other format, please check in the entry form whether you want your film(entry) to be returned, or not.
The organisers may use entries for non-commercial purposes for promoting the festival in the media.
